So we can maintain our account very easily. Tally Software is developed by Tally Solution Pvt Ltd and Tally Solution Pvt Ltd company based in Bangalore.

Tally Solution Private Limited Company is one of the most famous companies in India. Tally's father's name is Shyam Sundar Goenka and his son's name is Bharat Goenka.

we know the latest version of Tally is called Tally ERP 9. Tally is used to recording accounting transactions in any business. There are many activities in business i.e. many small and big transactions happen to like- purchase, sale, payment, expenditure, stock maintenance, and many such transactions that keep happening which we can easily record with the help of a tally. You can do so and maintain your accounts easily. Apart from this, in Tally ERP 9, we can easily do many tasks like create payroll, manage stock, create inventory, apply GST, calculate GST tax, and many more in Tally.

Types of Tally Versions:-

The name of this product was changed to Tally for the first time in 1988.

1. In 1999, this company formally changed its name of the company to Tally Solutions.

2. In the year 2001, a new version of Tally i.e. Tally 6.3 was launched. This version was slightly advanced as it had the potential to be used for educational purposes other than accounting. Along with this, the facility of license was also given in it.

3. In 2005, Tally was launched in the market with an even better design, with the key feature being Value Added Taxation (VAT). Which was very helpful for Indian customers. This was the Tally 7.2 version.

4. In 2006, 2 versions of Tally were released, one Tally 8.1 and the other Tally 9. These were the multilingual versions of Tally.

5. In 2009 this company released Tally ERP 9 a business management solution.

6. In 2016 Tally Solutions was selected to provide a GST facility as an interface between GST Server and Taxpayers and in 2017 the company launched fully updated GST compliance software.

7. Tally Prime software was released on 9th November by Tally Solution Company.
